'I have enjoyed both Brigid's ante and post natal yoga classes.  In addition to the yoga, as a first time Mum, I found it a warm and welcoming environment to share experiences and advice, and spend a little bit of time focusing on me!  After the birth of my son I had a condition that meant certain exercises were out of bounds.  It was no problem.  Brigid was very familiar with this condition and was able to simply adapt the classes and even add poses and exercises to specifically help the healing process.  For me the benefits of yoga are evident and Brigid offers a wealth of expertise alongside a great deal of compassion and first hand experience.'        Narelle and Brady  

 

This class is suitable from 6 weeks postnatal until babies start crawling.

Yoga breath-work and postures are used to strengthen your tummy and pelvic floor, realign your pelvis, release shoulder and neck tension from feeding and carrying, then relax deeply to rest and re-energise.  

Babies are integrated into the class with massage, song, chanting and some postures but the main focus of the class is on the mums when possible.

You are invited to stay afterwards for a cup of tea and meet other new mums.

Buggies can be brought into the room so sleeping babies can stay asleep. This is a very relaxed environment (where we don't mind babies crying, feeding and nappy changing!) so come and have fun while getting back into shape.

25th Feb - 1st April (6 weeks - £48) 11.45am - 1pm: 1 SPACE LEFT

22nd April - 27th May (6 weeks - £48) 11.45am - 1pm: 11 SPACES LEFT

All classes are held at the Camden Centre, Market Square, Tunbridge Wells. 

All equipment is provided but please bring a blanket / mat for your baby to lie on during the class and any favourite toys. It is not advisable to practice yoga on a full stomach or to drink water during the class. Wear loose comfortable clothing. Yoga is done with bare feet.
