Suitable from 14 weeks. All levels welcome.

Birthlight pregnancy yoga is a method developed by Francoise Freedman. It uses flowing sequences and classic yoga poses to help the pregnant body open in preparation for birth at the same building strength and stamina.

The class is friendly, relaxed and inclusive of all levels of students. This is not only a wonderful opportunity to prepare physically and mentally for the birth of your baby but the environment offers support, advice and friendship from other local mums and mums-to-be. 

Your teacher, Brigid, is passionate about empowering women as they look forward to the birth of their babies. She will show you some techniques and practices that not only have physical benefits to make you comfortable during your pregnancy but will also help you approach the birth with confidence, strength and positivity.

Class times: Tuesdays 6.30pm - 7.45pm and Thursday 10am - 11.15am.

Cost: £7 per class payable in advance per term (or up to week 39 if that is sooner).

Term Dates: No class on 27th July or 3rd Aug. Class resumes on Aug 10th. No class on Oct 26th.

PLEASE BOOK ASAP TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT AS THERE IS CURRENTLY A WAIT FOR PLACES IN THE TUESDAY CLASS.

You can join the class at any point during the term, space permitting and as long as you are 14 weeks or over.

All classes are held at the Camden Centre, Market Square, Tunbridge Wells.

All equipment is provided. It is not advisable to practice yoga on a full stomach. Wear loose comfortable clothing. The classes are done with bare feet.
